On Sunday, the Colts initiated their plan to reduce their roster to 53 players.
From their roster of ninety men, the team announced nine cuts, one of which was the release of safety Ronnie Harrison. Harrison joined the Colts in August of last year, was added to the practice squad, and participated in seven regular season games.
In those games, Harrison recorded 20 tackles, two interceptions, and one sack. Before joining the Colts, the 2018 Jaguars third-round selection appeared in 28 games in Jacksonville and 39 in Cleveland.
Additionally, defensive end Derek Rivers, wide receiver Greg Ward, and wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland were dismissed by the Colts. They released linebacker Mike Smith Jr., quarterback Kedon Slovis, wide receiver Derek Slywka, kicker Spencer Shrader, and cornerback Clay Fields III.
